About This Opportunity:

Job Location:
Studio G HQ & Distribution Center-Holland, MI
This is an On-Site Position (Not Remote)

Department/Team:        Product Solutions Team
Position:                            Hardware Specialist
(FULL TIME; 40 Hours per week/8:00am-5:00pm; Monday-Friday)

Ideal candidates should be:

  • Willing to collaborate within a team, both internally with other Studio G Product Specialists and externally with building trades, architects and designers as required.
  • Meticulous and client focused on delivering a great experience-every time.
  • Able to identify Client needs and problem solve.
  • Comfortable communicating selections with strong presentation skills.
  • Familiar with or ability to read and interpret construction prints  
  • Proficient in MS office and Adobe platform
You Will Be Doing A Lot Of This:
  • Developing hardware solutions for custom builders using existing software systems for drawing and specifications
  • Developing installation documents from purchase orders when our builder partners have already selected hardware within a home
  • Purchasing materials for each project
  • Supporting sales efforts in achieving expansion of existing custom builder, designer, and architecture relationships
  • Analyzing floorplans and architectural drawings to creatively design product solutions that meet the needs of the Client, balancing cost, and aesthetics.
  • Correctly specifying products and supplies needed
  • Creating estimates and email communications between internal and external contacts
  • Managing multiple projects/Clients at one time
  • Making recommendations for cohesive designs that appeal to builders and home buyers utilizing the full scope of Studio G’s capabilities

  • Comfort using technology and office equipment (Adobe and MS Office)
  • Great verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Sharp decision-making skills and be receptive to learning
  • Ability to manage time and tasks in an orderly manner
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a high sense of urgency
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to understand Architectural documents, plans and specifications
